Have you ever sat down and taken time to think about your life and mumbled some words to God and say thank you?You being alive and knowing that no part of your body is ill and you are not under any medication thank God .Then if you have never taken time to think about do it now.l will give you a reason to thank God.Having been born into this world like any other child where a child is born but a son is given.That day the doctor came with a report saying that you are a sickle cell patient.You are so young to understand what is going on .The doctor says that in an inherited blood disorder marked by defective hemoglobin.That they die early causing shortage of oxygen and to sum it up all the doctor says that you will not reach a certain age.At a tender age taking medicine not knowing what is for seeing their face filled with fear.Growing up knowing that you are in a death row ready to snatch you away from this world at a given opportunity.Going to school falling sick everytime spending most of your time in a hospital bed.Everything stop in your family all attention and money are spend on you.Money that was kept side maybe to start a project it can’t happen.A month you spend more than 70000 just to by drugs.It kills seeing that even our dreams are cut short due to the condition.My pray is just to plead with you that you support us if you can.Even prayers are mostly welcome.If you know any sickle cell patient appreciate that person this journey is not smooth like it looks like the pain is thrice the normal pain.Mostly we need friends who will just call to say Hi and check on how we are doing we can’t even withstand harsh condition like cool climate.We are all calling upon the world that we are appreciating all sickle cell patient.#we can beat this thing.✌️peace
